Weight loss medications like GLP-1s (e.g., Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®) mimic a hormone called GLP-1, which helps regulate appetite and blood sugar levels. They work by slowing digestion, reducing hunger, and helping you feel full longer, making it easier to adopt healthier eating habits. These medications also support sustainable weight loss when combined with lifestyle changes.
Clinical studies show that patients can lose about 10-15% of their body weight over 6-12 months when using GLP-1 medications like Ozempic® or Wegovy®, alongside lifestyle changes. Individual results will vary depending on factors such as adherence to the program and your starting weight.
The cost of medications are not included in your Evernow membership. The cost of banded medications like Ozempic® or Wegovy® will vary based on the prescribe medication and your insurance plan.

The FDA approval process requires a rigorous clinical testing process to ensure a drug is safe and effective to treat a particular condition or indication. “Off-label” use is when a provider prescribes an FDA approved drug for an unapproved use (conditions that go beyond its approved indications). Such “off-label” prescribing is legal and commonly practiced. Healthcare providers have the discretion to prescribe drugs off-label if deemed appropriate for a patient based on their medical history, symptoms and preferences.
