About The Role

As the Brand Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand voice, omni-channel marketing strategies and overarching vision for supporting women’s health in menopause and beyond. Reporting to the CMO, you’ll collaborate to develop full-funnel strategies that build brand awareness, drive traffic, optimize funnel conversion and best serve our members. To that end, you’ll partner to oversee strategies across all digital channels including lifecycle marketing, social media marketing, new product launches, paid ads, SEO, influencer & more.

This role is part brand marketer, part growth marketer and part go-to-market lead on new products. It’s the ultimate combination for those who are looking to have a big impact at a high-growth startup, and possess the skills & appetite to straddle brand, creative & digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand - Craft and execute our overarching brand voice, positioning and marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement and conversion
  • Go To Market - Oversee go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products & services, developing holistic marketing strategies, defining product positioning, drafting copy & key messages, managing asset development, and end-to-end execution across all channels
  • Website & Landing Page Strategy - Oversee all copy and key messages on our website; partnering with our conversion optimization (CRO) team to drive acquisition
  • Content Strategy / SEO - Oversee our SEO and content marketing strategy; managing a content team and/or related agencies
  • Social Media - Daily oversight and management of our social media strategy, including content creation and community management across all platforms.
  • Paid Social - Work in partnership with our paid social teams to develop content, messaging and testing strategies for optimizing performance
  • Email Marketing - Partner with our CRM manager to help craft the prospective and current member experience, including member newsletters
  • Customer Communications - Across all channels (email / sms / push) own all member facing comms; manage the global communications calendar and oversee our member newsletters
  • Influencer Marketing - Develop and oversee our influencer marketing strategy alongside a channel manager responsible for day-to-day responsibilities
  • Other Paid Media - Partner with our paid marketing agencies & performance marketing team to oversee paid media strategy across new channels
  • Events - Develop event partnerships in the women’s health & wellness space; manage sponsorships, swag, placements & more
  • Data & Analytics: Work with our marketing & data analytics team to develop dashboards to track key KPIs and develop actionable insights that inform brand and digital marketing strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, growth marketing or other related roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in either SEO/content strategy, social media/influencer marketing, or go-to-market
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills; with ability to work and solicit feedback across multiple departments, while integrating into a cohesive overarching strategy
  • Excelling copywriting and communication skills, with a special ‘knack’ for writing compelling product positioning & story-telling that will resonate with consumers
  • Strong eye for visual design & creative; ability to concept compelling customer-facing campaigns
  • Excellent project management skills & experience with current platforms (asana, notion etc.. )
  • Data-driven decision making and ability to translate into actionable insights
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in health-related consumer brands, wellness, lifestyle a plus
  • If outside of Bay Area, comfort working with a distributed team (we have a small office in SF)
