About The Role
We are on the lookout for a Collaborating Physician with a passion for midlife women’s health to join our remote medical team. This role is ideal for physicians who are adept in leveraging technology in clinical care and have expertise in women’s health, particularly during midlife transitions. As a part of our team, you will act as a supervising collaborator for our Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners in various states, playing a key role in delivering top-notch medical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide collaborative supervision for Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners, ensuring high standards of medical care.
- Engage in patient evaluation and diagnosis in line with Evernow’s clinical guidelines.
- Participate in consultation and quality review meetings with Nurse Practitioners, as mandated by state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted MD/DO license in at least two of the following states, with a preference for CA, TX, OH, PA.:
AL, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KY, LA, ME, MN, NE, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TX, VA, WI. - Board Certification in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
- Menopause Society Certification (formerly known as NCAMP) or willingness to obtain it within one year of hire.
- A minimum of 3+ years of direct patient care experience, preferably in women’s health (Obstetrics/Gynecology, Family Medicine, Primary Care).
- Experience in collaborating with Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners.
- Demonstrated passion for mentoring and coaching medical providers, with a strong commitment to engaging in continuous quality improvement processes. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and enthusiasm to foster professional growth among our medical team, ensuring the highest standards of care and clinical excellence.
- Experience with telehealth practices and comfort in working autonomously in a startup environment.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication, with empathetic and intuitive listening skills.
- Tech-savvy, adept in using various systems and tools including Google Workspace, Slack, and proprietary EHR.
