Women's Health Nurse (RN)

As a Women's Health Nurse Specialist at Evernow, you will play a pivotal role in our multidisciplinary teams. You will be an essential point of contact for our patients and providers, ensuring seamless coordination of care and services. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact our innovative approach to healthcare delivery, providing compassionate support and guidance to women navigating the challenges of menopause. There is a large component of education in this role, such as helping patients understand how to take medications, resolve common side effects, and encourage our members to obtain mammograms.

• Act as a liaison between patients and providers, ensuring all needs and requests are promptly addressed.
• Provide comprehensive patient education and support on medication usage, managing side effects, and overall health maintenance.
• Coordinate with the medical team to address patient concerns and medication refill requests.
• Guide patients through preventive health practices, including the importance of regular mammograms.
• Participate in special projects aimed at evolving and improving our systems of care.
• Display flexibility and creativity in contributing to the development and improvement of healthcare delivery models.

• Active Registered Nurse (R.N.) license with no disciplinary action.
• Hold an active Compact nursing license and reside in the state that holds your compact license.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with experience in women’s health (i.e. Obstetrics/Gynecology, Family Medicine, Primary Care) strongly preferred.
• Previous healthcare start-up experience or deep interest in being part of a fast growing healthcare organization preferred. 
• Menopause Society Certification (formerly known as NCAMP) or willingness/ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
• Proven ability to educate and mentor patients in managing their health.
• Experience in designing and implementing educational programs for patients.
• Strong clinical background, with the ability to develop and adapt patient care plans based on current research and standards.
• Excels at use of technology and software applications for healthcare.
• Exceptional telephonic and virtual communication skills, with a focus on empathy and patient education.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, including participation in special projects with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in healthcare delivery.
