Dr. Rafid Fadul is digital health executive, company advisor, and practicing pulmonary critical care physician. His professional and philanthropic life has been dedicated to improving access and quality of care. Dr. Fadul was an early adopter of telemedicine and consulted for several major entities in the industry for becoming the founding Chief Medical Officer at Wheel Health from seed-stage through the Series B. Dr. Fadul serves as an advisor for several companies in the health technology sector and sits on the Board of Directors for Ureteral Stent Company (Series A medical device company) and MedWish International, a non-profit for which he leads medical missions abroad. He is a serial entrepreneur with two exits in the last 5 years: in 2018 he sold his multi-state group practice of Community Intensivists to HNI Healthcare, and in 2019 sold Platform Beer Company and Gypsy Brewery to Anheuser-Busch (ABInBev).
Dr. Fadul is triple board certified (internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care). He completed his medicine training at Georgetown University while doing his MBA at Johns Hopkins, followed by training in pulmonary/critical care at the Cleveland Clinic. He has published extensively in clinical medicine, health economics, and digital health, and has presented nationally and internationally on the same.
